The Documentation : Varsity Lecture Planner
My Varsity Lecture Planner,
A truncation of "My University Lecture Planner "
This app is developed by Victor Mwenda (marviktintor)
The premiere release of this app is 14-10-2013.
Though this is the version 1 of this app, this app has undergone
Immense modification to have it the way it is now.
What Motivated Me?
Am a student and I dont like carrying the whole University
timetable together with my stationery, so I developed this app
not for single use only, but for any other student who lands on it
and wishes to enjoy having his School Timetable compressed in this app
and properly managed for quick retrieval of a large quantity of Information.
Terms Used:
CATS - Continous Assessment Test
These are the short assessment tests on the unit/courses you going
through in a given academic year or (tri)semester.
Course - This or These are the different unit you will be having
Calling the subjects would be rather straight forward but
That will be under statement.
Main Exam - This is the final Exam that you will do at the end of the (tri)semester
or Academic Year.
Lectures - These are the classes that you will be having during your (tri)semester
or Academic Year.
Lecturers - This is rather Straight forward, these are your Teachers, or Tutors Varsity Details - These are the details about the University you study at.
Personal Info - These are your own details.
Personal Info (Advanced) - These is your advanced information including your
password and username.
Main Exams
The Main Exams Activity is created to help you manage information about your
end of semester Exam using the main_exams-wizard for efficient storage and retrieval:
The required field are : Course Name
Invigilator name
Venue(Exam Building and Rooms)
Exam Date, Start time and Stop Time
Lectures
This Activity helps you to manage your classes. From the venue, to the time and date and the
Lecturer name or Tutor name using the lectures-wizard for efficient storage and retrieval :
Lecturers
This Activity helps you to manage a little information about
The lecturer or tutor who teaches you using the lecturers-wizard for efficient storage and retrieval :
Courses
This Activity allow you to save data on all the courses or unit
that you have to study in a given academic year using the courses-wizard for efficient storage and retrieval :
University Info
This is information about the University you study at.
This information too is very important in the log in process.
My Personal Info
Your Personal Info is very important to this app, for this is the information
used to log you in this app.
A special wizard, the user-wizard, that liases with the varsity-wizard and log_in-wizard
and hack-wizard allows you to conceal your personal information and help you log in the case of forgetting
Your password or username
Erasing data
Erasing data is very simple. By Clicking on an Item, the Item will be deleted from the
storage system.
For proper utilisation of the delete wizard, start to delete items fom the bottom
of the list,
The delete wizard actually is designed to delete the item at the clicked position, this
means that it is not fool-proof, though its designed to be fool proof if you perfect in inputing
The most accurate data, then this app will serve you very well.
For the best experience, do not feed inaccurate data so that you wont have to delete anything
Erasing data(Advanced )
This uses a MASTER wizard that is fool proof, a single click on an item, deletes ALL the data
associated with the clicked item.
How to make this app fool proof
1. feed PRECISE data
2. be Concise
2. Do not use delete wizard
All wizard ensure that your log in information is secure and cannot be tampered with. To reset all your app
data, Go to your default Android Settings App, And from the list of your downloaded apps, CLEAR DATA.

campaign against abortion which is very rampant in Nairobi. If I win the
title I'll be very vocal in fighting abortion especially among young
ladies in high schools,colleges,universities and also in our estates.
I'll achieve this by educating them on dangers and consequences of
abortions through live interactions with them, billboards and also
posters.By doing that am sure by the end of my term I'll have reduced
the level of abortion cases in our society to as minimal as possible.

#1 . Download and install the latest trial
version of any avast! edition such as Internet
Security,Premier or Pro Anti Virus from the

#2 .Now,go to avast settings >
troubleshooting and disable avast! self-

How to Install Android Developer Tools (ADT) on Linux (Ubuntu 12.10)
Whatsup Everyone, This your Boy MarvikTintor with another Linux Trick on how to RUN android-developer-tools in linux(ADT)
1. First download ADT for the Linux Platform and unzip it.
You can download it from :

Android Developer Tools website
2. Copy it in your desktop
3. Open your Terminal Emulator
To open your terminal emulator click : CTRL + ALT + T
My Terminal has this: root@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:/home/marviktintor-chatter/Desktop#
4. Now type : ls to view the folders and files in your desktop, Notice my adt-bundle-linux
root@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:/home/marviktintor-chatter/Desktop# ls
adt-on-linux.txt new~ sdk adt-bundle-linux
desktop java.txt~ safaricom
5. Now lets start typing:
marviktintor-chatter@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:~$ cd Desktop/
type : "sudo su" to change to root mode call it Super User mode
You should see this:
marviktintor-chatter@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:~/Desktop$ sudo su
[sudo] password for marviktintor-chatter:
6. Enter your password and click enter
Notice the prefix "root" below, that shows you are in the Super User mode
root@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:/home/marviktintor-chatter/Desktop#
7. Now lets move the "adt-bundle-linux" folder to the folder where other program files, or executable files or application are by default located.
Type : mv adt-bundle-linux/ "/usr/lib/"
Example :
root@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:/home/marviktintor-chatter/Desktop# mv adt-bundle-linux/ "/usr/lib/"
8. Wait for sometime till the moving process terminates.
We will now naviagte to the location of our "adt-bundle-linux"
9. Now type: "cd / "
Example:
root@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:/home/marviktintor-chatter/Desktop# cd /
This navigates you to the root of your filesystem and not the "root" folder in the root of your file system, haha, confused, hope not, you are a linux user partna and am your sidekick geek!
Now Navigate to the folder where "eclipse" is in the "adt-bundle-linux" folder in the "usr/bin" folder of your Ubuntu-Linux diastro
cd /usr/bin/adt-bundle-linux-eclipse
OR
cd /usr/bin/
cd adt-bundle-linux/
cd eclipse/
Now Lets Change the file type of "eclipse.exe" so that we can be able to run it:
type chmod 777 eclipse
If you are told something like "Permission Denied", change to root mode by typing
sudo su
Then Enter your password:
NOTE:The password will not be shown and nothing will happen on your terminal, so do not freak out, everything is ALRIGHT!
and the "$" changes to "#"
(And I dont think you will be told something like "Permission Denied" because; how comes linux will have given you super user permissions to copy files in the "/usr/lib/" directory if you were out of root mode)
Example:
(a) Before typing: marviktintor-chatter@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:~$
(b) Type "sudo su" : marviktintor-chatter@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:~$ sudo su
(c) Click Enter
marviktintor-chatter@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:~$ sudo su
[sudo] password for marviktintor-chatter:
The cursor keeps on blinking, Enter your password now
(d) After Entering your password : root@marviktintorchatter-HP-650-Notebook-PC:/home/marviktintor-chatter#
Notice the change in the "suffix" $ to #
Now try again to type ./eclipse
Wait for around 2000 milliSeconds and ADT (Android Developer Tools) Pops out
Voila!
We aint through my partna, Now type : apt-get install ia32-libs to Install 32-bit Libraries iff you are operating on a 64-bit Machine
And Then after reading of packages lists and building dependency trees is done, you shall be confronted with a question and some remarks;
/*
*0 upgraded, 243 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
*Need to get 75.9 MB of archives.
*After this operation, 237 MB of additional disk space will be used.
*Do you want to continue [Y/n]?
/*
Enter "Y" and click Enter
You may need to create a desktop quick launcher shortcut for your ADT , Open your "eclipse" folder using your default explorer application:
"/usr/lib/eclipse/" inside this folder, you should notice a file called eclipse, select the file and then right click on it, Now choose the "Make Link" Option and this automatically creates a link to the eclipse file. You can move the "eclipse link" file to your desktop or wherever place you wish, this link will help you to quickly launch ADT (Android Developer Tools)

Whatsup everyone, this is Victor,my alias marviktintor and am here to show you how to download youtube videos, Have been receiving alot of suggestions to post on my blog how to download youtube videos and I see its incumbent upon me to do that and do it NOW so lets get it done.
Open YouTube and navigate to any video, ... let me pick an example of one funny video about Bucky Roberts, Why Bucky Dropped out of School and this is its link: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDvE72Y4ckU" Ok now, this is where all the magic is, add "ss" between "http://www." and "youtube.com/watch?v=EDvE72Y4ckU" such that your new link now is "http://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=EDvE72Y4ckU" and click enter, This immediately takes you savefrom.net and allows you to select the video quality to download, Click on the video format and quality to download.Voila!!
